WHO WE ARE

PA Agro Farms Limited was established to build a fully integrated poultry production business in Ghana — one that controls quality and supply at every stage, from the soil to the shelf. We are not a farm that depends on outside suppliers for feed, chicks, or processing. We grow, mill, hatch, raise, process, and compost ourselves, so quality never leaves our hands.

We are also part of a wider partnership: PA Agro Farms Limited is a sister company of Prince Mark Company Limited, one of Ghana’s established cold-chain distribution businesses. Prince Mark is our primary offtaker, moving the poultry meat we produce through a nationwide network built on 27 cold rooms and established retail relationships — so every bird we produce has a direct, reliable route to market.

WHAT WE DO

We operate one connected value chain rather than a series of separate businesses. On our nucleus farm we cultivate maize and soya, the foundation of our own feed. That grain feeds our on-site feed mill, which supplies our layer and broiler farms — stocked with day-old chicks from our own hatchery. From there, birds move to our slaughterhouse and packaging facility, and finally into the market through Prince Mark, while poultry litter is composted on-site for sale.

WHEN: OUR GROWTH TIMELINE

We are scaling deliberately, not overnight. Our production target is 10,000 tons of poultry meat in Year 1, growing to 25,000 tons by Year 3, as our farms, feed mill, and processing capacity expand together. Each stage of growth is matched to the capacity we’ve actually built — on the ground, not on paper.

WHERE WE OPERATE

Our operations are anchored on a 2,000-hectare nucleus farm in the Nkoranza South district of Ghana’s Bono East Region. From there, our value chain reaches outward: to the 1,000+ outgrower farmers who supply us across the country, and through Prince Mark’s cold-chain network into markets nationwide.

WHY WE EXIST

Vision
To be West Africa’s leading integrated poultry producer — reducing Ghana’s reliance on imported poultry through locally grown, locally processed, quality meat.

Mission
To operate a fully integrated, farm-to-fork poultry business that delivers consistent, quality poultry products to the Ghanaian market, while creating sustainable livelihoods for the farmers and communities we work with.

Our Impact

• Supporting local farmers — Through our outgrower scheme, we work with over 1,000 farmers across the country, providing pre-financed inputs, mechanization support, and training in good agricultural practices — with guaranteed offtake and above-market pricing for their harvest.

• Strengthening food security — By growing our own grain and processing our own poultry domestically, we reduce Ghana’s reliance on imported chicken and keep more value, and more jobs, within local communities.

• Creating employment — From farm labor to feed mill operations, poultry husbandry, processing, and distribution, our value chain creates jobs at every stage.

• Reducing waste — Poultry litter and crop residue are composted on-site and sold to outgrower farmers, other commercial farms, and retail gardeners — turning our own byproducts into a soil-health resource for others.

HOW WE WORK

We built our value chain to remove every weak link a typical poultry business depends on. We don’t buy in feed — we grow the grain and mill it ourselves. We don’t buy in chicks — we hatch our own from day one. We don’t outsource processing — we run our own slaughterhouse and packaging facility. Control at every stage is how we guarantee quality at every stage.

We’ve also brought in international expertise to make sure our operations meet global standards from day one:

  • Agronomy — Kenya — Our maize and soya cultivation is guided by agronomists with deep experience in East African grain farming, helping us optimize yields on the nucleus farm and across our outgrower network.
  • Poultry Farm Management — Thailand — Our layer and broiler operations draw on farm management expertise from Thailand’s poultry industry, supporting biosecurity, flock health, and production efficiency across our farms.

This combination of local farming knowledge and international technical expertise is central to how we operate.
